Estimated Delivery Time:
Grocery Orders:
- Orders placed Monday to Saturday before 10:00 will be delivered the same day. Orders after 10:00 will be delivered the following day.
- Orders on Saturday after 10:00 and Sunday will be delivered on Monday morning.
- Weekend or public holiday orders will be processed the next working day and delivered a day later.
Please inspect items before the delivery driver leaves; Smart Afro is not liable for defects post-delivery.

Late Deliveries:
Unforeseen circumstances like adverse weather, road closures, or strikes might extend delivery times. 'Late' deliveries due to such situations aren't grounds for refund or cancellation. Contact us if your delivery surpasses the estimated times.
Delivery Costs:
Free delivery for orders above R1000; orders below R1000 incur a standard R75 charge within Gauteng. Other provinces and neighboring countries have delivery fees based on order amount/quantity.
Out of Stock Items:
If an ordered item is out of stock, we'll contact you within one or two working days for alternatives like swapping for a similar product or issuing a refund. We strive to expedite orders and keep you informed of progress.
Absent During Delivery Attempt:
Deliveries occur Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Provide a delivery address where someone can sign during these times. If absent, our call center will arrange a new delivery day after contacting the recipient.
Recipient Requirements:
Any person at the delivery address can accept the delivery. Proof of delivery requires a signature at the delivery address, not necessarily by the recipient. Identification may be requested for verification.
Order Tracking:
Parcel tracking details will be sent via SMS on the dispatch day. Track your parcel on our website.
Return Policy:
Goods can be returned within 7 days of receipt. Perishable goods must be returned immediately with our delivery driver. Only items in original packaging are accepted for return; courier costs are the customer's responsibility. Upon receipt, a credit note will be issued.
